At this role you will contribute to managing strategic purchasing activities of the company within assigned business unit / commodity types. You will become a part the well-established and stable purchasing team. Devise and execute commodity/part group strategy based on
Ensure collaborative and competitive environment within commodity / part group. Identify new sourcing opportunities / channels, technologies and evaluate those. Introduce new suppliers into ALPS ALPINE systems. Ensure (set up and improve) contractual status with related suppliers. Lead Value Engineering activities within commodity/part group. Achieve commodity/part group targets (focus on QCD).
Playing key role in escalation (crisis) cases:
Coordination between plants, purchasing teams and suppliers
Activating internal and external escalation channels
degree in Business/Economics or Technical field,
min. 5 years of experience from operational and strategical purchasing area high advantage is the knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering,
proven experience and understanding of purchasing principles when it comes to measurements of cost, delivery and supplier performance,
advanced written and spoken English language, additional language is a plus
excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint),
target oriented, excellent communicator and negotiator, team player with patience,
willingness to learn, out of the box thinking and go the extra mile approach,
experience in corporate type ERP systems and related modules, experience as a ERP key user is a huge advantage.
